Reboots ruin everything. The once good Spider-Man movie series (except for 3, which was rubbish) is about to be ruined by a reboot which was conceived faster than anyone could say "sequel." Honestly, the web slinger's origin story has been covered and re-covered more times than Don't Stop Believing during karaoke night at the local dive bar.
And it's not just movies, video games are another common offender. Such as the upcoming reboot of the Devil May Cry series in the form of "DMC" which is supposed to be more gothic and more anime which is exactly that series needed: MORE ANGST. Frankly, I don't even know why they're rebooting it; I never knew interest was slipping, probably because I started caring.... never.
But really I just feel cheated by reboots. It's as if everything that came before gets a sign stuck to its temple that says "Not Our Best Work" as if we're supposed to just disregard it all as they buy it all back. As if they're saying, "Yeah, we didn't really try last time and it's such a mess it's not even worth attempting to save at this point."
THAT
BEING
SAID
I'm rebooting [and ruining] my blog! Everything that's come before really isn't my best work and in all honesty, I wasn't totally trying last time and after my "extended" Christmas "break" it's really not worth attempting to slide back into this as if everything's sunshine and rainbows and nothing ever happened. (And by "ruining my blog" I mean, "writing it again.")
So, now the important questions:
Q: When will it update?
A: I don't know! Whenever I have enough marginally funny things to say about a given topic and enough big words to make it look like I know what I'm talking about.
Q: What will it be about?
A: Whatever I bloody well please. More movie reviews, video game talk, and whatever other random complaints I have about the world in general.
Q: Here's what will become of Revolt Against Radio.
A: That wasn't a question...?
Q: Sod off.
A: But that last answer was a question.
Q: What is this, Jeopardy!?
A: Back to the point...
Revolt Against Radio will continue but not on this site as I want to [eventually] expand its scope. As such, I will be deleting the RAR posts from this site as they've already been transferred to revoltagainstradio.blogspot.com which will be the eventual home of that feature once I get back into it.
Sooooo yeah, go do something else now, I'm done.
